Project Overview

The MBJ3 joint venture team was selected by officials at DFW International Airpor t to provide Construction Management-At-Risk Services on terminals B & E.

The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport – Terminal Renewal Improvement Plan is planned to provide a complete renovation of the facilities that includes:

• Replacement of building systems to provide a 30+ year life and other high-value operational improvements.

• Replace all terminal systems such as electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, security, conveyance, telecommunications, lighting, fire protection and IT systems.

• Demolish existing areas for new baggage handling system (BHS) conveyors.

• Consolidate concession areas.

• Construction consisting of construction of new in-field garages at Terminal A & E; remaining garages, excluding Terminal D Garage, will be rehabilitated.

• Terminal A and Satellite E is expected to require removal of existing Passenger Boarding Bridges and installation of new Passenger Boarding Bridges.

• Install an aircraft auto-docking at Terminal B. 44Installation of projects to accommodate regional rail service from both Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T).
